Cities can rightfully be considered monuments of ancient Russian history and art. Founded at the beginning of the last millennium, they have preserved a unique architectural ensemble of cathedrals and temples, inside which you can find wall paintings, icons and examples of ancient Russian architecture. Some of the sites are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Each city is a real open-air museum. We will walk along the old Russian streets, step by step plunging into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, touch the famous Orthodox shrines and learn the history of the formation of great cities and their rulers, which is a reflection of the development of all of Russia.

Program

First day:

– 9:00 meeting and departure from Moscow;

– 11:00 arrival to Sergiev Posad. Tour of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra (1 hour). You will get acquainted with the architecture of the largest center of Russian spiritual culture and enlightenment, touch the Orthodox relics and learn about the life of the founder of the monastery — St. Sergius of Radonezh;

– 12:00 free time;

– 19:00 arrival to Suzdal. Check into a hotel;

Second day:

– 10:00 excursion around Suzdal. You will visit the historical center and the main pearl of the city — the Nativity Cathedral, Vasilievsky, Alexandrovsky, Rizpolozhensky, Pokrovsky and Spas-Efimovsky monasteries, venerate the holy relics;

– 14:00 lunch;

– 15:00 excursion around Vladimir. The program includes the golden gate, built at the beginning of the 12th century, a water tower and the Church of the Savior, an observation deck overlooking the Assumption Cathedral;

– 18:00 departure to Moscow;

– 22:00 arrival in Moscow.
